I composed a song when I was confused and called it ”Coming home”.

I recorded piano and vocal and asked Janne Schaffer to play guitar on it.
Janne is very known for playing with Abba, Ted Gärdestad and Electric Banan band and for his own great performances.
He masters his instrument (guitar) very good.
He liked my song ”Coming home”, took a cab and came here to my apartement and put guitar on it.
I could feel every second of it.

This song is about finding yourself.
When you´re confused you need to take the road back home.

Last month I was in Schweiz recording a musicvideo for my new project with the artist Jayce Landberg. This project is very new and exciting, and it feels quite unike.
The music we do, his guitarsound, our images and everything.
You will see what happens with it…

Tomorrow a friend of mine Claes Crona will come and rehearsal some jazz and singer/songwriting. He is one of the best pianists in Sweden and I love his feeling.
My criterion for playing with someone is that they have a great feeling and are so present that he/she makes the room magical.

My friend André Fagerman created a documentary about homeless people. He wanted to find out what they make in a day, why they are there, what people think about them and how we can help them.
I thought it was a great idea to do this documentary. This subject is so imoportant and so many Swedes have opinions about them. Some of us feel guilty when we see them beg, some of us want to prohibit the begging and some of us want to help them but don´t know how.
André asked me to do a song for his documentary and so I did.
I composed and recorded the song and called it ”If we care” and you can hear it 3 minutes into the documentary.
The name of the documentary is ”Tiggare kan ingen vara”

Thank´s everyone who attended yesterday!
It was great to play on a newly tuned grand piano. It was one of the best pianos I have ever played on.
It was very nice to see so many people there in the audience!

I tried to mix my repertoar yesterday. I didn´t know how people would react on some of the songs like ”Get lucky” which is a popsong that is quite fast and with some special lyrics. But people where diggin it I think.
I have noticed how I´ve improved at playing the piano during the year. Theese weeks I have totally fokused on practising.
Now I have a wedding in Kolmården on Saturday and then I´m free til next week….

Tomorrow (30/7) I will perform in Västerleds kyrka in Bromma. I play the piano and sing at 19.30. Welcome!

… to everyone who came to my concerts!

I´m very happy that so many came despite the nice weather.
When we came to St Eriks kapell for Thursday´s performance I was a bit chocked. They didn´t have any microphone there!
I thought it would be very difficult to manage without it, specially since the church was full of people!
But I got surprised because they heard me very fine because of the fine acoustics in the church.

One funny thing was that I lost one of my Sheet-Music both days! But I played without the paper and it worked.
I play the piano so much that it can´t really be a problem!
Theese weeks I have played A LOT! Several hours everyday!

Now I´m going to Växjö on vaccation for a week.

If you look three posts down you can see that I´m composing music to a film about homeless people. The film is made by my friend André Fagerman.

We will play singer/songwriting, popsongs, jazz and musical, some of the songs are newly composed by me.
Emma Lindhamre is a very good Cellist. She has performed with some great artist like Brian Wilson and Carola.
I love her precence on stage and together we will try to make magic.

I composed a song to all the lonely people, all people who don´t have a home and those who get no love. The song is called ”If we care” and will be the title song of a film about homeless people. A friend of mine wanted to see how it is to be a homeless and beg in the streets. He went out on the streets to talk to them, see them, their situation and he even tried to be in their shoes. One day he dressed in begger-clothes and sat outside like a poor man. He wanted to see how they live, why they are there, what they do and where they come from. AND he wanted to sort out a big issue that people in Sweden talk about: Are there a lot of beggers coming from organisations or leagues from other countries that try to fool people?
All these questions will be adressed in the film. With my song I want to make people really feel something.
The film will probably be released in August.
