Woke up quite early for a Saturday. I´m on my way to go and have a meeting with 2 producers. It will be interesting to see if we can create something together in the future. I´m in a hurry so – I´ll write more later!

I really feel that I´ve progressed a lot as an artist. My attributes are more clear, my approach also, my goals are quite defined and my songs got a lot of good response. I will keep composing songs in July when people are on vaccation. There is also another item I have to work on – this website. My webmaster Daniel Olsvenne is going to help me make it more suitable and cool. 🙂 I will take moore pics for the new design. This Monday I had an interesting meeting again with my artist coach Micke Nystedt. He is really dedicated as he helps me. We had discussions about my audience, my image as an artist and record labels. We also prepered for meetings with people in the music business. We made a list with a lot of questions that I want to have an answer to from competent music people. Micke also has a lot of knowledge from the musicbusiness as he worked on the radio station RIX FM, as a promotor on EVA REcords and as a judge on Fame Factory. Therefor he has a lot of good advice for me about where to put the effort as an artist. One thing that he really made me realize is how important it is to know how to promote myself as an artist both when it comes to my image and my goals. Goals are really important to get there, and of course a plan for it. That´s what we mainly do and every time we take a big step forward. Once again, I am so glad to have Micke as a support and I see a big developement with this coaching.

I have started to see an artistcoach. His name is Micke Nystedt. He ask me questions about my music, my goals, my image and others. He makes me ”face myself” and it´s quite scary but really really good. We have had 2 meetings. The first time he asked a lot of questions and told me things about setting goals and others. The second time we made up a plan for my goals and he gave me some homework too. He also made me think a lot about who I want to be as an artist and why. It´s very interesting and I find it more exhaustive than going to the psychologist becuase I associate my music with myself. We have already reached far in our process to the goal and now I have to be focused and go for it. But I love to do it so it will be mostly fun hard work. Next meeting Micke will listen to some of my new songs. I will play them by the piano and I really look forward to it. To communicate with music feels more natural than with words sometimes….. I think everybody should go to Micke to face themselves, he is really good! AND I really believe that this is the right way to reach my dreams.

It´s time to take som new photos again. On Sunday I will go with the photografer Tibor Lakatos, who took all the pics on my website and my webmaster Daniel Olsvenne will be there too. The point with this project is to create a new style that you will see soon. We´ll see if it works. 🙂

Next Sunday I have a concert in Nyköping. I will be solist on a Bluegrass concert. I still don´t know 100 percent what to play/sing but I will figure it out this weekend.
Maybe I´ll write something new. That´s the fun part of being an artist.

This month I got some new arrangements. One is to play with a Bluegrass band and to be their soloist. Another arrangement is for a guy that wrote a song that played in Radio in Germany, he wants to have a collaberation with me and another musician that wrote the main theme for the tv serie ”Skilda Världar”. He also wants me to play at a mass that is about relations. We haven´t made any decitions yet. We talked about it and I think it sounds interesting. We will see what happens. So no names here on the web yet. 🙂
I wrote some new songs but I most say that I get more and more picky about them. I will relax that and try not to judge them before they are finish. That´s what I advice other composers so it´d be stupid if I don´t follow my own advice. The thing is that if I start to question the music before finishing it will never be complete….
My practice in playing bass is sat on ice right now. Maybe I will bring it up later.

It´s Christmas Holidays and right now I´m really concentrating on composing. Every day I try to come up with something new and I notice that my demands for the quality are getting higher. I listen a lot to other composers, mostly pop to get some inspiration and then I take the inspiration and do something with it but with Sofia Ullmans touch on it. 🙂
I also started to play the bass. In the beginning it sounded awful with 20 other keys ringing at the same time. But now it starts to get better when I noticed I have to use all my fingers on the strings. I am not patient at all but at the same time very stubborn so lets see what happens….
When I don´t play the piano, flute or bass or sing I go to a locale here in the basement of the appartement with my neighbour and we dance. We do free training and come up with a lot of steps, trying to develope our own styles. We dance streetdance and I mostly dance popping. I think we might go there today again cause dancing is so fun……

Yesterday I had a meeting with the promotor Anders Westin. Anders helps artists to reach out through radio, TV, papers and others. He is  patient to make sure that the artists is shown in media that is good for their image. Right now he is in Stockholm for Björn Skifs show in Globen and we had a meeting during his visit.
It was a good meeting and we talked about music, the future and the songs that I produced with Anders Dannvik. Now we will cooperate and see where it leads us. I cannot talk so much about this before I know what will happen. Like always. 🙂
Soon it´s Cristmas and I will concentrate in composing and practicing as much as I can. Hopefully I will do some streetdance too. Tomorrow and Wednesday I have my last days at work and I will play the piano in a church and in a school. That will be fun. I also did arrangements for violin on three songs and I hope it will be beutiful and make people cry, in a good way. Hehehe

The performance at Hotel Quality Win was fine. It was a nice piano to play at and a good soundsystem. Everytime I have a performance I get quite nervous before. It doesn´t matter if it´s a small or big performance, I still get nervous. And so I was before this performance too. Then when I get up on stage, I relax again. The program was a mix between fast and slow songs and I played two sets.
Yesterday I had a day off only playing some music with a friend and relaxing. Today I started to compose again. It went really fine and I am satisfied with my new peace, though it´s not finish yet…..
